Eden Hazard joked that former managers Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte would "kill" him for hitting the gym to prepare for a charity match, according to Goal.

Former global football star and ex-Lille, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Belgium player Eden Hazard has been enjoying himself since retiring in 2023.

The Belgian, known for his talent and laid-back training approach during his playing career, openly admitted he preferred having fun to hard work.

Despite this, he shone at Chelsea, where he worked with Mourinho and Conte, before his career took a downturn at Real Madrid.

Hazard will represent FC Sphere against Shield United. He aims to put on a better performance than last year.

"Last year, my teammates didn't pass me the ball enough! This time, the real Hazard is coming. I just need to prove it on the pitch again," - Eden Hazard said, as reported by Sports.

Preparing for the match, Hazard jokes about his former managers' reactions: "Damn! You never did anything with us, and now you're training! Conte will kill me. Mourinho will kill me. Sorry, boss!"

Although questions arose about his weight towards the end of his career, Hazard's retirement surprised many, given he was considered one of the world's best during his Premier League title wins with Chelsea.

He revealed that the club did not want him to leave, with his teammates not agreeing with his choice, as they wanted him to stay.
