Manchester United receive massive injury boost ahead of crucial fixtures
Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen could be back in first-team action imminently after having his protective boot removed.
Eriksen has been injured since January when he was the victim of an ill-timed challenge from Reading striker Andy Carroll that left United manager Ten Hag fuming.
After the game Ten Hag spoke on the incident, saying:
"This tackle and the two tackles after, they don't belong on the football pitch because it's a high risk to injure your colleague, so I think it's worse."
The Red Devils won that game 3-1 but the injury to Eriksen marred a victorious evening.

Eriksen has now confirmed he is back in Manchester United training through his social media.
The former Tottenham midfielder posted three pictures on his Instagram story confirming the removal of his protective boot.
The pictures show Eriksen's progression from wearing the protective boot to wearing a pair of trainers and then to his football boots.
Big picture for Manchester United
This will surely be a big boost for Manchester United who have looked light in midfield recently, especially with the 4-game suspension handed to Casemiro after he received his second red card of the season against Southampton.
Eriksen was not expected back until the end of April but looks set to feature again well before then.
