The Red Devils reportedly have a long list of options that have been narrowed down to Sporting's Viktor Gyokeres, Nigeria's Victor Osimhen, and Frankfurt star Hugo Ekitike.

However, a move for the aforementioned trio appears unlikely due to financial constraints, pushing Amorim in a different direction.

Arokodare, valued at 18 million euros by Transfermarkt, finished as the top goalscorer in the Belgian Pro League last season with 17 goals in 30 games, and finished with 23 goals and 7 assists across all competitions.

The 24-year-old previously had spells in Germany, France and Latvia before making the move to Genk for just £3.5 million in January 2023.

A move to Old Trafford could be a more cost-effective transfer, allowing for the club to push through their move for Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo, who is expected to leave this summer.
