Manchester United Delegation Arrives in Germany to Negotiate Transfer for In-Demand Striker
Manchester United have dispatched a delegation to Germany to commence direct negotiations with RB Leipzig regarding a potential transfer of Benjamin Sesko, according to Ben Jacobs of ESPN.
The delegation is led by Christopher Vivell, Leipzig's former chief scout who joined the Old Trafford hierarchy a year ago.
Vivell is considered the driving force behind Manchester United's pursuit of Sesko. Having worked with the player at the Red Bull Arena, he believes the Slovenian possesses the qualities to thrive under coach Ruben Amorim.

Amorim, however, reportedly prefers Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa. Jacobs adds that both Manchester United and Newcastle, the other club considered a frontrunner for Sesko's signature, hope to negotiate a fee of around €70 million.
Numerous reports suggest both clubs informed RB Leipzig of their interest several days ago and subsequently received permission to speak with the player and his representatives.
Both the Red Devils and the Magpies have presented their sporting projects and financial proposals. Various sources indicate Sesko favours a move to Old Trafford. However, Newcastle are in a stronger financial position and could more easily afford such a significant transfer.
