Man United manager Ten Hag confirms Mason Mount injury, rules him out of Arsenal clash
Mount’s injury comes as a blow for Man United as they host the league leader Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Mount suffered a calf injury in November that kept him out of action for four months and he just made his full comeback against Crystal Palace.
The midfielder signed for Man United from Chelsea last summer for a deal worth £60 million after failing to extend his contract with the Blues.
Mount’s injury
Throughout this difficult season, Man United manager Ten Hag has been battling a widespread injury issue, and Mount has now added his name to the list.
Ahead of the Arsenal clash, Ten Hag said in his press conference, as shared on X, “Mason Mount has suffered a new injury and he won’t be available”.
Mount's troubles with fitness are exacerbated by a "very unlucky" injury he has experienced this season.

The Red Devil manager also confirmed that “Luke Shaw has also suffered a setback in his recovery”.
However, according to Ten Hag, Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominay, and Bruno Fernandes have all resumed training.
This implies that all three United players may play in Sunday's crucial Premier League match at Old Trafford against Arsenal.
