Lookman’s legs don’t lie: Super Eagles star goes beast mode in solo training amid transfer uncertainty

Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman is already putting in the hard work ahead of the new season, sharing a powerful leg day and training pictures on social media as speculation intensifies over his club future. 

The 27-year-old Nigerian and reigning CAF Player of the Year is determined to stay focused despite swirling transfer rumours.

After enjoying his holidays in Nigeria, Lookman has resumed preseason training with Atalanta in Italy, where he has been a key figure.

Sharing four pictures on X (formerly Twitter), Lookman wrote simply: “Full focus,” signalling his commitment to preparation. 

The Atalanta star looked sharp and fit, showing the physical readiness that has made him one of Serie A’s most exciting forwards.

Lookman’s impressive form last season, 15 goals and five assists in Serie A, has made him a hot commodity in the transfer market. 

Atalanta have placed a hefty €50 million (roughly ₦89 billion) valuation on the Nigerian forward, a price tag that could spark a bidding war.

According to Pulse Sports, Atletico Madrid have emerged as a frontrunner, while Napoli and Premier League clubs like Tottenham and Arsenal have also shown interest.

Despite his crucial role at Atalanta, Lookman’s contract runs until June 2026 without renewal talks, suggesting the club may be ready to cash in this summer. 

The Nigerian star’s desire for a new challenge and a step up in his career fuels the speculation, but for now, Lookman remains focused on training and proving his worth on the pitch.
