Liverpool to submit offer to sign Crystal Palace star Marc Guéhi

Reports suggest that Guéhi himself is keen on a move to Anfield and has already agreed terms with the Reds. Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle are also reportedly interested.

According to The Sun, via Sportal, the bid will be £40 million, and if rejected, Merseyside will not increase their offer.

It is claimed that Palace are hoping to receive around £45 million for their captain if they are to allow him to leave this summer.

Crystal Palace are not interested in a player exchange as part of the deal. There were rumours that Liverpool were prepared to offer Ben Doak to the London club. Palace are looking for a straight cash deal to reinvest in new signings.

The Reds sold Jarrell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen for £35 million earlier this month, and the future of Ibrahima Konaté, whose contract expires next year, seems uncertain. Therefore, Liverpool are in need of another quality center-back.
