Former PSG manager and current boss of Qatar side Al-Duhail Christophe Galtier has called Cristiano Ronaldo "best in the world."

His comments came after his side lost 4-3 to Al Nassr in the AFC Champions League, with Ronaldo scoring twice, including the winner in the final ten minutes.

Galtier showered praise on Ronaldo in the aftermath of his team's defeat.

Gatier picks Ronaldo over Messi

Galtier, Messi’s former boss at PSG, took charge of the Qatari side earlier this month after he was replaced by Luis Enrique at the Parc des Princes.

Galtier said: “When you face Ronaldo, there isn't much you can do.

"He scored two beautiful goals I'm at a loss for words to describe him. What he did is extraordinary for a 38-year-old. He's still the best player in the world.”
