Leicester City forward Ayoze Perez is reportedly expected to make his loan move away from the club permanent in the summer transfer window.

Ayoze Perez could leave Leicester City

Perez has been on loan at Real Betis since the end of the winter window in January and if the Leicester Mercury is to be believed, plans are already in motion to convert that loan deal into a permanent one.

Ayoze struggled to make any real impact early in the season and found appearances hard to come by. Ultimately an exit seemed to make sense for both parties and a loan move was arranged.

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers preferred to play with Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka in attack and even when Vardy was out of form, Kelechi Iheanacho was preferred to Perez.

Perez joined Leicester from Newcastle in 2019 and while there were some moments of brilliance, he never quite hit the heights he would have expected with the Foxes.
