Kwara FA assures Kwara United of returning to play home games in Ilorin soon
The Chairman of the Kwara Football Association (FA), Idris Musa, has reassured that the state-owned football club, Kwara United, will return to play their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) home games in Ilorin.
Musa said that the football pitch of the Ilorin stadium complex will be ready for use, in no distant time.
He confirmed this to Ilorin-based journalist, Abdul Momoh during an inspection of the ongoing project.
Recall that the pitch is under rehabilitation as its artificial turf is being changed into natural grass to meet the global standard.
The development has seen the state football club, Kwara United, play their home matches in Akure, Ondo State, in the ongoing NPFL season.
