Kenya vs Estonia Starting Lineup: Benni McCarthy Hands Zech Obiero Harambee Stars Debut
Tranmere Rovers forward Zech Obiero is set to make his Harambee Stars debut after being named in Kenya’s starting lineup for their match against Estonia.
Kenya take on Estonia in the FIFA Series at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, Rwanda on Friday evening and head coach Benni McCarthy has named a strong team that has both experienced and young players.
One of the standout names is Obiero, who is set to make his long-awaited debut for Kenya, having received a call-up for these matches.

The team includes goalkeeper Ian Otieno, who plays in South Africa with Richards Bay, Ronney Onyango at right-back, captain Abud Omar at left-back while in central defence, it will be Tunisia-based Alphonce Omija and Gor Mahia’s Frank Odhiambo.
Utility man Manzur Okwaro will anchor the midfield alongside Romani-based Richard Odada while Obiero will play as the most advanced midfielder.
In attack, McCarthy has kept faith with William Lenkupae on the left wing with Job Ochieng on the opposite side while Ryan Ogam will lead the line as the main striker.
