Juventus set to rival Chelsea, Milan for Super Eagles' Victor Osimhen

Juventus have reportedly entered the race for Victor Osimhen, as they are seriously considering triggering the Nigerian’s release clause. 

The 25-year-old is currently on loan at Galatasaray but is owned by another Serie A side, Napoli, who have set a €75 million release clause in his contract. 

As Pulse Sports reported, the Partenopei would prefer to sell Osimhen in January, as they have a list of three players they want to reinvest in, and Juventus, who are struggling to score goals, are attentive to the situation.

According to a report from CalcioNapoli 24, the Old Lady have emerged as a contender for the former Cappocannoniere winner. 

Per the report, Juventus sporting director Cristiano Guintoli is a big fan of the Nigerian and is pushing the line to get him to bolster their offensive ranks, as they look to win their first Scudetto since the 2019/20 season. 

Juventus will not have it all their way in the race for Osimhen, as Napoli confirmed that the Nigerian has a long list of suitors. Pulse Sports reported that another Serie A side, AC Milan, were one such interested party and are keen on landing the Nigerian next summer.
