Job is nearly done — Everton saviour David Moyes delighted with Arsenal draw

Everton fought back from Leandro Trossard's early goal to earn a point against Arsenal, with Iliman Ndiaye scoring a penalty to steal a point.

After the match, manager David Moyes expressed satisfaction with the team's performance, saying, "

Really satisfied. It has been a difficult week - the team who are top of the league and the team that are second in the league. We gave them a good game."

Moyes also noted that the team is nearing safety, stating,

"The job is nearly done. Mathematically, we are not safe yet. I am hoping to take a visit to the new stadium this week, which would indicate that I think we are close. We need to get used to playing Premier League football there."

On Ndiaye's return, Moyes said, "We have missed him. We have not had Dwight (McNeil), we have not Ili since the Liverpool game at home, Dom (Calvert-Lewin) and (Armando) Broja, too. The players who have been in, have done very well."

Moyes took over with Everton 17th in the standings and the turnaround has been remarkable as they are now 14th and one of the best defences in the league since he arrived.

The Toffees are 15 points off the drop zone and fans can start to relax and prepare for Premier League football next season.
