Guardiola speaks on title race

Reflecting on the title race, Guardiola told Sky Sports, "Hopefully Arsenal will concede a goal one day. The energy we didn't have, we have.

“I had the feeling since the Club World Cup that we were in the moment. It's just 10 games, still 28 to play, many things are going to happen."

The Gunners have been in superb form this season, winning their last nine games in all competitions and conceding only three goals.

They have also kept seven clean sheets in a row and have a total of 13 clean sheets in all competitions this season.

The victory moved Manchester City into second place, though they remain six points adrift of league leaders Arsenal.

City's focus now shifts to the Champions League, where they will host Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, before a crucial Premier League clash at home against Liverpool on Sunday.
