Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has expressed her delight after being nominated for the prestigious Ballon d’Or Féminin, describing the recognition as a proud moment for herself and her family.
Nnadozie was among five elite goalkeepers named on the shortlist for the award by France Football on Thursday.

Speaking after the announcement, the Paris FC shot-stopper said the nomination was a testament to years of dedication, discipline, and determination.
“This nomination means a lot to me. It’s a thing of joy for me and my family. It shows that all the hard work, all the consistency, and all the prayers have been working because I am so happy about this. It will serve as a moral booster to keep going,” Nnadozie said.
The Nigerian international, widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in women’s football, urged aspiring talents to remain committed to their craft.
“Whatever you are doing, never stop, the world is watching,” she added.
