With Lazio almost guaranteed a Champions League place next season, the onus was on Inter to avoid defeat as they look to finish in the top-four in Serie A.
Felipe Anderson opened the scoring for Lazio before the hosts produced a second half comeback thanks to a Lautaro Martinez brace and Robin Gosens.
A thoroughly well-deserved win 🖤💙 ⚽

How it happened
This game was not just significant because of the possibility of Champions League football but also because anything other than a win for Lazio means Napoli can wrap up the Serie A title later in the day.
Lazio keeper Ivan Provedel was in fine form, making saves from Marcelo Brozovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the early stages, while a reprieve was offered for Lazio when Mkhitaryan’s goal was ruled out for offside.

Against the run of play, the visitors took the lead minutes later. Francesco Acerbi conceded possession to Felipe Anderson in a dangerous area, and the Brazilian exchanged passes with Mattia Zaccagni before finding the bottom corner.
Despite their progress into the UEFA Champions League semi-finals and the Coppa Italia final, Inter’s league form has been inconsistent but they began the second half with more intent than the first.

The hosts found an equaliser when Lukaku showed great strength to turn and find Lautaro Martínez, who slid in to lift the ball over the goalkeeper and send fans inside the San Siro and Naples into jubilation.

With just seven minutes remaining, Lukaku continued his excellent creative display to whip a cross to Robin Gosens at the far post to volley past Provedel.
The icing on the cake was supplied in stoppage time with a tap-in from Martínez. A crucial result for Inter, who move back into the top four.
