‘In terms of finishing’ - Galatasaray legend claims Icardi is a better goalscorer than Osimhen

Osimhen scored his 14th goal of the season for Galatasaray in their 1-1 draw against Hatayspor on Friday night.

The Super Eagles star has been exceptional for the Turkish giants since joining on loan in the summer.

However, despite his performance in front of goal, his finishing has been called into question.

Karan has been critical of Osimhen's finishing because he missed multiple easy opportunities and found it difficult to get past the opponent's defensive line.

Speaking on the SkySpor YouTube channel reported via Habersarikirmizi, Karan said, "Victor Osimhen is an athletic and technical footballer, but he showed that he is behind Icardi in terms of finishing; he missed many clear goals. He could not get out of the offside trap.”

Karan scowled at Osimhen's finishing and failure to beat Hatayspor's offside trap during the match, even after praising his technical skill.

Osimhen had a total of six shots against Hatayspor but could only manage to get two of the shots on target during the game.

Although he was able to get on the scoresheet to increase his goal tally, he still trails Simon Banza and Krzysztof Piątek in the league.
