“Impossible” — Wilfred Ndidi’s teammate plays down comparisons with Lionel Messi
Facundo Buonanotte has downplayed comparisons to Barcelona and Argentina legend Lionel Messi, saying it's "impossible" to match the 37-year-old's level.
Buonanotte, 19, has been impressive on loan from Brighton, scoring three goals and providing two assists in eight Premier League games.
His former boss, Carlos Tevez, sparked the Messi comparison, saying Buonanotte "reminded him" of the World Cup winner and had "no ceiling."

However, the midfielder is humble about the praise.
"No, it is impossible," he told the Telegraph.
"Messi was my idol growing up, my absolute hero.
"I think maybe he was referring more to my speed and acceleration off the mark," he said.
The young Argentine is adamant that Messi remains in a league of his own.
"At the age of 37, he's still the best player in the world. He's going to still be performing like this for a long time to come."
