Barcelona President Joan Laporta remains adamant that the club can cope with Real Madrid making blockbuster signings like the capture of Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe by relying on the club’s famed La Masia academy.

Real Madrid have announced the signing of Mbappe on a five-year contract as the French star ditches Paris Saint-Germain after six years.
Naturally, Barcelona’s hierarchy has reacted to their major rivals signing one of the best players in the world, as they prepare for life against the France national team captain.
Laporta addresses Mbappe move
Laporta expressed disappointment at seeing one of the best players join the team’s archrivals, saying, “As Barça fan, it’s not good news to see Mbappe to Real Madrid.”
However, he was adamant that he did not regret missing out on signing the French striker, choosing to rely on Barcelona’s academy talents.
