I grew up watching him — Adrien Rabiot credits Super Eagles legend for Marseille move
Rabiot is the latest big-name signing to be drawn to the Olympique Marseille project under new manager Roberto De Zerbi, following in the footsteps of ex-Manchester United star Mason Greenwood.
The 29-year-old has been without a club since leaving Italian side Juventus in July.
He was reportedly a target for several Premier League clubs over the summer, including Manchester United, and Turkish giants Galatasaray but neither option materialised.
Rabiot reveals childhood love for Taye Taiwo and Marseille
Speaking on his decision to join Marseille, the ex-PSG man revealed that certain players sparked his affection for the club as a kid.
"When I was younger, I liked to watch Marseille play.

Rabiot will hope to emulate Taiwo's success with Marseille by leading De Zerbi's men to the Ligue 1 trophy, just like the Super Eagles legend did in 2010.
