Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has hinted that £30m summer signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall could be sold in January due to his limited playing time.
Dewsbury-Hall arrived from Leicester City over the summer with big expectations but is yet to start a single game in the League this season.
His goal in Chelsea's 5-1 win over Shamrock Rovers in the UEFA Conference League is his only goal involvement since arriving.
Despite playing in cup competitions, the midfielder's lack of top-flight opportunities has left him frustrated.
When asked about Dewsbury-Hall's future, Maresca said:
"Unfortunately I can not say that about Kiernan or all of the squad because when the window is open, anything can happen."
Maresca praised Dewsbury-Hall's work ethic and performances but stopped short of guaranteeing his future at the club.
"The only thing I can say about Kiernan is that we are very happy with the way he is working and his performances," he added.
