The Egyptian forward admitted that while the club has made "very good signings," integrating them into the squad is a process that requires time to build on-field chemistry.

What Salah said

In comments reported by Fabrizio Romano on Sunday, Salah expressed his feelings about the team's current form.

"I am not happy with this start of the season. It’s a tricky season for us because we have a few new players. They are very good signings, but they need time to adapt to the team," Salah said.

"We just need time to adapt and know each other’s games, and everything will be fine," he added.

Under new manager Arne Slot, Liverpool has had a mixed opening to the Premier League campaign.

The team has demonstrated moments of its trademark attacking flair, but has struggled to find consistent results as the new arrivals settle in.

The call for patience comes after a recent positive turn. Liverpool snapped a four-game winless streak in the league with a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa on Saturday, a match in which Salah scored his landmark 250th goal for the club.
