‘He struggled to survive’ - Ex-Besiktas star explains difference between Osimhen and Immobile’s abilities
Osimhen has become one of the most efficient strikers in the world, following his impressive season with Napoli before having a fallout with the club.
The Super Eagles striker led the Italian giants to their first Scudetto in 33 years and was a key player before making a loan move to Galatasaray
Since his summer move, the striker has continued his goalscoring form, making 11 appearances and scoring eight goals.
Engin compares Osimhen with Immobile
Engin thinks the Nigerian's hard-up upbringing, which shows in his aggressive, high-energy style of play, makes him a greater striker than Immobile.
According to Galatasaray Gazetesi on X, Engin said, “Osimhen comes from an ambitious place, having struggled to survive in Africa.

“He bites the ball, struggles with the opponent, [and] goes higher in the air than the goalkeeper. On the other hand, if you look at Immobile, he looks like an Italian model.”
The former Besiktas midfielder claimed that Immobile lacks Osimhen’s energy, which makes the Nigerian star a better player.
Osimhen continued his goal-scoring form for Galatasaray after rescuing them from a loss against AZ Alkmaar on Thursday.
The striker will be looking to extend his goal tally when Galatasaray welcomes Eyupspor in the Turkish League.
