Following months of impressive displays under José Bordalás, Uche has caught the attention of heavyweights such as Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Newcastle, and even newly promoted Sunderland.

However, Getafe president Ángel Torres seemed frustrated when speaking about the young star’s wavering stance.

“Uche doesn't even know what he wants; it all depends on how he gets up,” a visibly exasperated Torres said as quoted by Cuerta TV.

Uche’s stock has risen sharply, with his valuation rising up to 30 times what Getafe paid to sign him from AD Cueta. But with the player yet to commit to a preferred destination, Getafe remain in the dark on how to proceed.

Despite Torres’ suggestion that Uche favours England over other offers, the player himself has yet to publicly confirm his intentions.

His agent has maintained a cautious stance, stating they’re evaluating all options. Meanwhile, Getafe are keen to capitalise on the midfielder’s rising value before the season begins.

For now, all eyes remain on whether Uche finally picks a direction, or continues to stall while elite clubs wait in line.
