Harry Kane: Tottenham chairman furious with striker after secret meeting with Bayern

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly angry with his striker Harry Kane for holding a private meeting with Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel.

Kane is open to a Tottenham exit but has limited options due to his price tag. The 29-year-old has been offered a new contract to stay with his boyhood club but has shown no intentions of signing.

Manchester United and Chelsea showed a firm interest but have both backed away due to the complexities surrounding any potential deal. 

Right now, moving abroad is the striker's best chance of winning a trophy and competing at the highest level.

Bundesliga giants Bayern are keen to sign him even after seeing their opening £60million offer rejected by Daniel Levy.

According to German outlet Bild, Levy has been left red-faced and furious after learning of a secret meeting between Harry Kane and Thomas Tuchel at the striker's London home. 

Levy is so incensed that he is now intent on making sure that Kane remains a Spurs player for the new season, marking the final year of his contract. 

In any case, Bayern is ready to make a second bid which will be sure to test Tottenham's resolve.
