Goals galore as Kayole Starlet stunned by Barcelona in Round of 32 action

Falling Waters Barcelona FC served up a massive upset after ousting Football Kenya Federation Women Premier League (FKFWPL) side Kayole Starlet in the FKF Cup Round of 32 action.

10 matches were lined up on Saturday with another six matches slated for Sunday 19 March as top-flight sides took on a number of lower-league outfits.

The biggest surprise of Saturday’s action saw FKF Women Division One Side, Falling Waters dig deep to bundle Kayole Starlet out of the tournament following a thrilling 5-3 scoreline.

Falling Waters kickstarted their giant-slaying quest as they went into the halftime break with a 2-0 lead and scored two more after the resumption of the second stanza.

Kayole however rallied from behind to score three goals in 14 minutes but their fightback was extinguished in the 86th minute when Falling Waters put the game to bed with their fifth in the match.

Reigning champions Ulinzi Starlets battled hard against a resilient Gusii Starlets to register a 1-0 win and advance to the Round of 16 of the tournament they won back in 2021.

Premier League side Nakuru City Queens showed no mercy against Young Bullets compounding them to a 1-6 annihilation with Eldoret Falcons thumping their neighbours University of Eldoret 5-0.
