Shabana secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Kenya Police at the Police Sacco Stadium in Nairobi, a result that keeps their title hopes very much alive in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League race.

The match started with both sides showing early promise but neither able to find the breakthrough. 

It was in the 28th minute that Gilbert Abala made the difference, expertly finishing a well-worked move to give Shabana the lead. The goal sparked celebrations among the Shabana fans, while Kenya Police were left frustrated by a defensive lapse.

The second half saw Kenya Police push hard to find an equalizer, with defender James Mazembe making several vital blocks to keep Shabana’s slender lead intact.

 In the 77th minute, Shabana’s goalkeeper Stephen Ochieng made a crucial save to deny Kenya Police’s Marvine Nabwire, preserving the 1-0 advantage. 

Shabana held on to claim all three points and keep their title challenge on track as the league approached a thrilling climax.

KCB and Kakamega Homeboyz Share Spoils in 1-1 Draw

Kakamega Homeboyz missed the chance to return to the top of the FKF Premier League table after being held to a 1-1 draw by KCB FC at Bukhungu Stadium.

KCB came out stronger after halftime, applying pressure that paid dividends eight minutes into the second half.

Former Gor Mahia winger Boniface Omondi capitalized on a poorly cleared ball by the Homeboyz defense to score the equalizer, leaving the home side to rue missed opportunities.

The result means that Kakamega Homeboyz remain second on 19 points, while KCB sail to 12th.

Bandari and Ulinzi Stars Play Out a 1-1 Draw

Ulinzi Stars saw their winning streak halted as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Bandari at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.

Ulinzi took an early lead through Masita Masuta, who finished expertly after a cross from Brian Birgen in the 17th minute. However, Bandari fought back and found an equalizer in the 59th minute.

Darius Msagha scored from a long clearance that caught Ulinzi’s defense off guard, calmly slotting past goalkeeper Levis Opiyo to secure a valuable point for the visitors.
