Former Manchester City star Jack Grealish named Premier League Player of the Week
Everton playmaker and England international Jack Grealish has been named Premier League Player of the Week after an outstanding performance for the Toffees in their weekend clash against Wolves.
The former Manchester City star has silenced doubts about his form with a dominant display that earned him the Pulse Sports Nigeria award.
Jack Grealish shines
Since leaving Manchester City to join David Moyes’ Everton as inspired by Wayne Rooney, the England international appears to have rediscovered his rhythm and creative spark.
Against Wolves, Grealish was instrumental, creating two key chances and providing two assists for three Everton goals. He also completed an impressive 92% of his passes, showing his precision and vision on the field.
In addition to his playmaking, Grealish completed five dribbles, two long balls, made two interceptions, and contributed eight recoveries, ultimately earning man of the match honours.
Everton shared a post on social media, highlighting his all-around contribution to the victory and the man of the match award.

Grealish’s performance helped him beat other standout contenders for the weekly award, including Dominik Szoboszlai, who scored a stunning free kick in Liverpool’s win over Arsenal, and Marc Guehi, who secured a clean sheet in Crystal Palace’s 3-0 win against Aston Villa.
Other contenders for the award were Bryan Mbeumo, who notched his first goal for Manchester United in their crucial win over Burnley, and former teammate Erling Haaland, who scored for Manchester City though it wasn’t enough to avoid defeat at Brighton and Hove Albion.
Jack Grealish’s form signals a strong start to his Everton tenure, with fans hoping he continues to shine in the Premier League.
