Cristiano Ronaldo bags brace as Al Nassr defeats Al Riyadh

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to lead Al Nassr to a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Al Riyadh in a Saudi Pro League match at Al-Awwal Park on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Ronaldo who has been in fine form for Al Nassr was the hero as they came back from a goal down to win.

Al Nassr playing near the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh, dominated the opening exchanges of the game.

However the home side went behind in the additional time of the first half as Faiz Selemani scored to put Al Riyadh in front.

Ronaldo and his teammates for all their chances in the first half went to the break behind.

In the second half, Ronaldo would get the equalizer in the 56th minute assisted by Sadio Mane.

Al Nassr began to dominate the game once again and Ronaldo scored the second in the 64th minute.

Ronaldo would featured for 90 minutes as Al Nassr picked up three points against an Al Riyadh side that finished the game with 10 men.

This comes after Ronaldo's hotel in Morocco caught fire during the week.

Ronaldo's Al Nassr are now one point behind Al Hilal and eight points behind league leaders Al Ittihad.
