Nigeria's hero against South Africa does not want to be robbed of her goal after Nigeria defeated South Africa 2-1 to secure a spot in the WAFCON final.

Alozie was in find form and scored the winner in added time as Nigeria’s Super Falcons braved the stubborn South Africans late on.

With the game tied at 1-1 and extra time looming large, Alozie’s fantastic left-footed cross from inside her own half appeared to have come off midfielder Deborah Abiodun before hitting the back of the net.

However, replays showed that it was indeed Alozie’s goal as the perfectly weighted cross bounced on the pitch before finding its way into the South African goal without help.

While Abiodun celebrated wildly, which has now gone viral, the Super Falcons did not care who the scorer was and joined her to celebrate what turned out to be the decisive winner.

But after the game, Alozie took to social media to react and demanded for everyone to count the goal as hers.

“Count it,” she posted in caps, before adding “See you in the finals.”

The Houston Dash defender who started the game in shaky manner, after a couple of misplaced passes, proved to be the unlikely hero for the Falcons and Nigerians.

Super Falcons’ Mission X remain alive, all thanks to the Alozie and her remarkable left foot, as Nigeria switches attention to final against Morocco this weekend.
