Chukwueze shines as AC Milan scrape past Slovan Bratislava

Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze played the full 90 minutes as AC Milan beat Slovan Bratislava 3-2.

Slovia had a fast start to the game, with David Strelec's 15th-minute effort miraculously cleared off the line by centre-back Strahinja Pavlovic.

Milan played themselves into the game and began to make inroads. In no time, Christian Pulisic opened the scoring. However, the Slovaks swiftly drew level through Tigran Barseghyan's sublime finish. 

Fonseca's tactical tweak at halftime, introducing Rafael Leao for Noah Okafor, paid dividends. Leao restored Milan's lead with a precise finish, and Tammy Abraham capitalized on Strelec's misplaced pass to extend the advantage.

Just as Slovan seemed defeated, Nino Marcelli's stunning 88th-minute, however, it was too late to spark any sort of comeback. Milan's victory propelled them to 13th in the standings, as Fonseca's men continued their European resurgence.
