Barcelona star Lamine Yamal published a classy message on his Instagram after losing out on the Ballon d'Or to Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembele.
Dembele wins Ballon d'Or
As Pulse Sports reported, the Ballon d'Or award for the best men's footballer of the year went to a direct toss-up between Dembele and Yamal, of which the France international star came out on top.
Dembele won the award after an incredible year with the French champions, winning every domestic competition on offer and the Parisiens' maiden UCL title to boot
After Dembele won the award, Yamal showed sportsmanship, approaching him for a handshake and an embrace, seemingly congratulating him.

The teenager was also a winner on the night. He picked up the Kopa Trophy for the best young men's footballer in the world for the second consecutive season.
He took to Instagram today to celebrate his Kopa triumph, and to congratulate Dembele for winning the Ballon d'Or
“God’s plan is perfect; you have to climb to get to the top. Happy for the Kopa trophy x2 and congratulate @o.dembele7 for the award and the great season,” he shared on his Instagram.
Meanwhile, Yamal's father, Mounir Nasraoui, has called Ousmane Dembélé’s Ballon d’Or win the “greatest moral harm” in football.
