Anthony Joshua: Nigerian-born boxer teases fight with UFC champion Alex Pereira
British heavyweight boxing star of Nigerian descent Anthony Joshua is trending once again.
Joshua surprised everyone when he tweeted about UFC light-heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.

Pereira demonstrated to the world once more why he is close to become a UFC great.
At UFC 303, the 37-year-old faced Jiri Prochazka for the second time in his professional career.
With the light heavyweight belt at stake, "Poatan" once more shown himself worthy of the moment. He successfully defended his championship after taking out the previous champion in the second round.
After the Brazilian's triumph, Anthony Joshua seemed impressed and suggested that he move to boxing.

Although Pereira is not yet considering an opponent, he did appreciate the advise.
Pereira is renowned for his potent left hooks, which have contributed to his several UFC victory.
Although the Brazilian has one boxing professional victory under his belt, it appears he is hesitant to switch.

In response to Joshua, Pereira tweeted, "I’m honored you think so. It’s always been my dream, I’m 37 I cannot make a career in it so who do you recommend I fight?"
Joshua has now responded to the Brazilian's post, which may reveal something new.

With two successful title defenses in as many months, 37-year-old Pereira is having a field day in the UFC.
He soundly defeated his opponents both times by knocking them out.
