Alejandro Garnacho: Fresh blow for Man United outcast as girlfriend UNFOLLOWS him to spark break up rumours
Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho is once again at the centre of social media-fuelled relationship drama.
According to reports, his long-time girlfriend Eva Garcia, has unfollowed him on Instagram, fuelling widespread speculation of a break-up.
Garcia, 20, who shares a one-year-old son, Enzo, with Garnacho, had previously unfollowed him during a rumoured dispute in 2024, before reconciling on a romantic family holiday to Tenerife.
What’s the gossip?
This time, reports from Daily Mail suggest tensions may have reignited following whispers that Garnacho, 21, spent time with Spanish influencer Ona Gonfaus—allegedly the same woman at the centre of their previous fallout.
Gossip site GSM HQ claims Garnacho and Gonfaus even “shared a caravan” on a recent trip.
Though neither Garnacho nor Garcia have publicly commented, fans quickly noticed the Instagram snub, with several speculating a separation.
Garnacho Transfer News Update
The social media storm comes amid growing uncertainty over Garnacho’s professional future.
The 20-year-old winger, who once carried high hopes at Old Trafford, is believed to be among several young players that new United boss Ruben Amorim is willing to offload.
Per TalkSPORT, Garnacho’s attitude was called into question during the tail-end of last season, with tensions reportedly peaking during United’s Europa League campaign.
Though Garnacho’s raw talent remains undisputed, Amorim is said to be focused on a squad rebuild.
Amid the club-level turmoil, Garnacho’s name continues to circulate in the transfer market.
Serie A champions Napoli, had a £40 million bid rejected by Manchester United in January.
According to ESPN, the Italians are expected to return with a revised offer this summer, with president Aurelio De Laurentiis publicly hinting at their continued interest.
“Garnacho's got pace, flair and potential,” De Laurentiis said.
Still, the allure of Champions League football and a clean slate may yet tempt the winger.
For now, Garnacho remains a United player, although he and four other wantaway stars are reportedly training separately from Amorim’s preferred squad.
