At least twelve Nigerian college athletes will be at the California State University, Sacramento competing in the West Preliminaries from May 24th-25th, challenging for a spot at the NCAA Championships.

The USTFCCCA organises the preliminaries for universities located in the same zone, so qualified athletes in their conference championships can challenge for spots at the NCAA Championships.
