The Swiss star has clapped back at her critics once more.
Alisha Lehmann is done playing nice and has responded to critics of her lifestyle.
The Swiss star, widely considered one of the ‘hottest female footballers’ in the world, has finally addressed the wave of sexist remarks she’s been dealing with.
)
Fresh off her break-up with Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz, Lehmann sat down for an episode of Small Talk, a YouTube show by Juventus, and gave fans a raw, unfiltered look into how she handles the constant online backlash about her appearance.
“I don’t care”
)
Lehmann, who boasts a staggering 16.5 million followers on Instagram, made it clear she’s not changing for anyone.
When asked about the backlash surrounding her glamorous style on the pitch, the Juventus star said:
‘No I don’t care. You know I always think, if I do something and my mom tells me it’s not good, then I don’t do it. But as long as she doesn’t tell me it’s not good, then it’s fine.’
)
Lehmann added: ‘People always hate that I wear make up when I play, but I don’t know what’s the problem because I don’t hurt anybody.
‘And I’m a girly girl. I can also play without [makeup], but it’s becoming like my thing. And sometimes now, I enjoy when they’re angry. Because I feel like, now I even put more lipstick on because of you saying that you didn’t like it. So now it’s your fault.’
Alisha Lehmann’s reported break-up with Douglas Luiz
)
Lehmann’s fiery comments come amid her quiet split from Douglas Luiz.
The couple, who rekindled their romance in January last year, reportedly went their separate ways after Lehmann played against Inter Milan in late March.
Since then, no shared posts. No sightings. Nothing but radio silence.
)
Sources in Italy claim the pair have been “disconnected” and their separate club commitments, with Lehmann settled at Juventus until 2027 and Luiz facing an uncertain future — may have played a role in the breakup.
)
Not so long ago, the pair sealed a sensational couple’s transfer from Aston Villa.
And now it appears their love story has ended in Turin.
Regardless, Alisha is making sure she lives life strictly on her own terms.
