Johana Cheptoo Seals Commanding Home Victory at Eldoret Golf Tourney

Johana Cheptoo topped a strong field to win the Minet Kenya Golf Tournament in Eldoret, as the event teed off in style with standout performances across all categories.

Johana Cheptoo was in a class of her own as she defied all odds to emerge top at the Minet Kenya Golf tournament.

The home player finished with an impressive score of 41 stableford points to clinch the prestigious overall title at Eldoret.

The thrilling tournament not only highlighted outstanding golfing talent but also marked a milestone with the grand opening of Minet Kenya’s new branch at Daima Tower in Eldoret Town, signalling a key moment in the company’s expansion strategy.

Navraj Sagoo Shines in the Men’s Category

The men’s category saw Navraj Sagoo beat a strong field, achieving a superb score of 41 stableford points while playing off a handicap of 17. The top spot secured him the top prize.

The second place was taken by determined Jaydeep Shah, who was competing off a handicap of 21. He delivered a commendable performance with 40 stableford points.

Adam Waseka walked away with the top prize in the Ladies' category, having secured a stellar score of 41 stableford points while competing off a handicap of 22.

Jane Koech, who was playing off a handicap of 19, was also in a class of her own as she scored 39 stableford points to finish in second position.

Guest Prize

Aside from the main event, the Guest prize saw Godfrey Kitiwa emerge victorious by scoring 35 stableford points. He was followed closely by Dr. Oliver Langat, who matched his score.

In the Senior Men’s category, Shanti Shah delivered an outstanding performance to clinch the title with 36 stableford points.

On the Senior Ladies’ side, Jedidah Keitany impressed with a solid round off a handicap of 21, securing victory with 34 stableford points and capping off a day of exceptional play and lively competition.
