Bandari have parted ways with Ugandan attacker William Wadri after failing to reach an agreement on a new deal following the end of his contract
Bandari FC attacking midfielder William Wadri is leaving the club following the end of his contract with the dockers.
The Ugandan has failed to reach an agreement with the Mombasa-based side and will now be available as a free agent in the January transfer window.
Wadri has been a key player for Bandari since joining the club in 2018 and was named player of the month in February 2021.

The development comes just three days after the player expressed his appreciation to the club’s fans for their support in the first leg of the season while hoping to continue with them in the new year.
“Thanks for the support you have been giving us in the entire first round. You have been so supportive, amazing and been travelling with us everywhere we go for our games. We really appreciate for that support, we wish you a prosperous new year,” Wadri said via the club’s social media accounts.
Ssebo, as he is popularly known, has been vital for Bandari in the last three seasons with the 2020-21 campaign his most productive when he scored 14 league goals before netting seven in 2021-22.
He managed five last season and his only goal this campaign arrived last month when he headed in the opener as Bandari beat Murang’a Seal 2-0.
His departure means coach John Baraza may be forced in the market for further reinforcements as his team seek to challenge for the FKF Premier League title.
Bandari headed into the Christmas break in sixth position with 26 points from 16 games, eight behind leaders Gor Mahia having won five of their eight games before the end of the year.
