The former Kariobangi Sharks and Nzoia Sugar defender has revealed he is at 100 percent fitness and is now in a position to help Tusker achieve their goals for the season.
Tusker FC defender Tom Teka has expressed his delight at making his first appearance of the season since coming back from an unfortunate knee injury he suffered during pre-season training in Tanzania back in August.
Teka made his first appearance of the season against Posta Rangers, a game that ended in a 0-0 draw, but he was at least able to help the Brewers keep a clean sheet in their efforts to correct their rather slow start to life this season.

Matano lambasted referee David Mulongo for his standard of officiating, swearing never to “forgive him” for his decisions and describing him as not competent enough to “even referee a Talanta Hela match".
“It felt good to be back, being out after a while and then coming back and completing a full match. I hope I can kick on from here,” Teka told Pulse Sports.
“I feel good. I am at 100 percent fitness now since the injury I suffered during preseason training in Tanzania.”
The former Kenya youth international has revealed that the club supported him throughout his rehabilitation process, with the physios playing an important part, but he is now looking to get back to where he was last season, having cemented himself as an integral part of Robert Matano’s backline last season.

Meanwhile, the budding defender has revealed that he wants to try and work his way into making the Harambee Stars squad for the 2024 African Nations Championships (CHAN), a tournament Kenya are reportedly set to host.
“I want to see if I will be able to work my way into the Kenyan CHAN squad for next year. With hard work, I think it is possible.”
Teka signed for Tusker in 2022 and played an integral role in helping the side finish second and reach the FKF Cup final.
His ability to pass the ball well from the back is a key reason head coach Robert Matano is a big fan of him given his emphasis on attacking the opposition direct.
