Tottenham sacked Ange Postecoglou shortly after a Europa League triumph, replacing him with Thomas Frank.
Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has described the sacking of Ange Postecoglou as “emotionally difficult” but necessary, despite the Australian guiding the club to its first major trophy in 17 years.
Spurs defeated Manchester United 1-0 in the Europa League final in Bilbao, but a dismal 17th-place finish in the Premier League ultimately sealed Postecoglou's fate.
His replacement is former Brentford manager Thomas Frank, who has been tasked with steering Tottenham back into consistent domestic and continental contention.
