Speaking to Raceday RTV, Ferguson shared his positive outlook on the team's development but emphasised the importance of consistency.

Lammens, 23, has made five appearances for Manchester United and remains unbeaten. He kept a clean sheet on his debut in a 2-0 win against Sunderland, which was followed by victories over Liverpool (2-1) and Brighton (4-2).

Despite the team drawing its last two league matches 2-2 against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham, Lammens has received widespread praise for his performances.
Former goalkeeping coach Tony Coton, who worked under Ferguson for a decade, is said to have played a key role in the club's pursuit of Lammens. Now a scout for the Red Devils, Coton was reportedly persistent in recommending the Belgian.

"We were always looking at goalkeepers who have huge potential. Senne was available and we decided to move, but it wasn’t a knee-jerk reaction."
