Shabana FC set to name an experienced former Kenya international as head coach, bringing renewed hope to the struggling team.

Former Kenya international and seasoned coach Sammy 'Pamzo' Omollo is set to take the helm as the new head coach of Shabana FC.

According to multiple reports on Wednesday, the experienced tactician has agreed to assume the role and is expected to be officially introduced to the team later this week.

Shabana have been struggling recently, suffering a humiliating 3-1 defeat at the hands of Posta Rangers.

Pamzo, a former coach for Tusker, Posta Rangers, and Kenya Police, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record to the team.

His appointment comes as a ray of hope for Shabana, who have been grappling with defensive issues, and fans are eager to see the team's fortunes improve under his leadership.

Pamzo Omollo is renowned for his ability to organize teams and make them hard to beat, precisely what Shabana FC needs as they have been struggling to prevent goals from pouring in.

Throughout his coaching career, he has demonstrated the skill of achieving remarkable results even with limited budgets, having previously managed clubs such as Mahakama, Oserian, and Posta Rangers.

Furthermore, Pamzo boasts a history of success, having led Tusker to the Premier League crown in 2011.

His championship-winning experience brings optimism to Shabana's aspirations of climbing the ranks and competing at the highest level.

Pamzo is no stranger to the pressure of managing a team with a demanding fanbase, as he has previously served as the assistant coach for Gor Mahia, in addition to his time as a player for the club.

In a recent interview with Pulse Sports, Pamzo expressed his readiness to take on a new coaching role.

"I have not been contacted by anyone, but I am a coach, and if the terms are right, then I look at it," he said.

As Pamzo prepares to assume the head coach position, there are indications that former Darajani Gogo assistant coach Caleb Aringa will join the team as an assistant coach.

Pamzo Omollo's appointment comes in the wake of the departure of Sammy Okoth, who mutually agreed to part ways with Shabana FC.

Okoth's exit paved the way for a new era under Pamzo's guidance, and fans are eager to see how the team will evolve under his mentorship.
