Shabana FC have warned fans about counterfeit tickets, taking action after experiencing a significant revenue setback following their recent match against Gor Mahia.

Shabana FC have issued a stern reminder to their passionate supporters ahead of their upcoming clash against Nzoia Sugar FC urging them to maintain decorum and emphasising the importance of authentic ticket purchases.

Tore Bobe still reeling from recent incidents of hooliganism and fake ticketing, are determined to ensure a safe and fair environment for all fans.

In a message shared across their official social media platforms, Shabana FC made it clear that fans should refrain from throwing objects onto the field, a practice that can disrupt the game and pose safety hazards to players and spectators alike.

Additionally, the club urged fans to obtain their tickets through legitimate channels and make direct payments.

This call to action from Shabana comes on the heels of an unsettling incident where a section of their fans almost attacked players following the team's 2-1 loss to Bandari last weekend.

Prior to that, Shabana witnessed a regrettable outbreak of hooliganism during their match against Gor Mahia.

Furthermore, the club faced the menace of fake ticketing during the Gor Mahia clash, with reports of unscrupulous individuals selling counterfeit tickets, resulting in a significant loss of revenue. This issue prompted Shabana to file a report with the Kasarani Stadium Police Station.

Reflecting on these unfortunate events Shabana's chairman Elizaphan Kerama issued a statement.

"Regrettably, we faced a series of unfortunate incidents, both on and off the pitch. Among these, the outbreak of hooliganism at Kasarani Stadium stands out, resulting in injuries to some of our devoted fans," the statement read in part.

"Concerning gate collections, the club incurred substantial revenue losses due to the challenging circumstances surrounding the match. We are presently conducting an investigation to identify those individuals who may be responsible for these unfortunate circumstances."

As Shabana prepares to face Nzoia, the club has provided detailed information on ticketing and stadium access.

Tickets for the match, scheduled for Saturday at 3 PM, will be available for purchase at Raila Odinga Stadium in Homabay.

Fans are encouraged to adhere to queuing procedures, ensure they receive a ticket upon payment, and verify that the ticket is stamped at the back.

Shabana FC's performance in the FKF Premier League has been a cause for concern, as they find themselves perilously close to the relegation zone, occupying the second-to-last spot with only seven points from 10 matches.
