KCB FC has appointed veteran coach Robert Matano to lead a strategic rebuild and restore the team’s competitiveness ahead of the new season.

KCB FC has appointed former Tusker FC coach Robert Matano as the new head coach, replacing Patrick Odhiambo.

Patrick Odhiambo took over KCB FC last July on a one-year contract, replacing Bernard Mwalala, who had left the club with a keen eye on pursuing personal interests.

However, his contract was not renewed following KCB FC’s poor form this season, as the bankers were forced to finish a distant ninth with 42 points.

KCB FC have since announced his replacement as they also look to strengthen their technical bench ahead of the 2025/2026 FKF Premier League season.

Robert Matano is not the only new member joining the team, as John Njogu has also been announced under the role of Trainer on the technical bench.
