One Bundesliga club is asking for the return of Kevin De Bruyne.

Manchester City's departing midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has been urged to consider rejoining German side VfL Wolfsburg, the club where he initially made a name for himself.

The club's post on social media read, "Dear Kevin, do you remember? You and I, ten years ago? How about the two of us again?"

De Bruyne's time at Wolfsburg was instrumental in his development as a player.

He joined the club in January 2014 from Chelsea in a deal worth £18 million and went on to play 70 games, scoring 20 goals and making 37 assists.

His impressive performances earned him the Bundesliga Player of the Year award in the 2014-15 season.

After just one and a half seasons at Wolfsburg, De Bruyne made a high-profile move to Manchester City in 2015 for £55 million.

Now, with his Manchester City contract set to expire, the possibility of a return to Wolfsburg has emerged as a potential destination for the Belgian midfielder.
