Kenyan midfielder Kenneth Muguna has made a return abroad after sealing a transfer to a top Botswana club following his departure from Kenya Police.
Harambee Stars midfielder Kenneth Muguna has secured a return to paid ranks abroad following his departure from Kenya Police.
Muguna was released by Police after the end of last season, following the conclusion of his two-year deal, having played a part in the law enforcers’ surprise run to the FKF Premier League title.
The midfielder has, however, found a new home and will now be donning the colours of Township Rollers, Botswana’s most successful club from next season.

Kenya Police midfielder Kenneth Muguna has given reasons why winning the FKF Premier League crown with Kenya Police is more special than previous titles.
While the finer details of his deal are not yet public, Muguna is believed to have landed in Botswana to begin the new chapter in his career and will kick off the season with Township Rollers once he secures a work permit.
Who are Kenneth Muguna’s New Club?
Also known as Popa, The Blues or Tse Tala, Township Rollers are based in Botswana’s capital Gaborone and have won 16 league titles, the most by any team in the country.
However, they have struggled in recent years, finishing sixth last season with their last title being in the 2018-19 season as Jwaneng Galaxy and Gaborone United have dominated since then.

Kenneth Muguna helped Kenya Police win the FKF Premier League title, which is the fourth of his career after winning three with Gor Mahia.
Muguna is no stranger to paid ranks abroad as this is his third club out of the country, having also played for FK Tirana in Albania in 2018 and Azam in Tanzania from 2021-2023, in between stints at Gor Mahia.
The 29-year-old is a highly experienced midfielder who has won the Kenyan league title four times, three with Gor Mahia, and one with Kenya Police.
He will be hoping to add his quality and experience to the squad as they look to return to their former glory.
