Victor Osimhen compared his promo shoot experience to feeling like Lionel Messi and pledged full commitment to helping Galatasaray secure their fifth league star with five games remaining.

Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen brought his signature energy to the launch of 'Çizi,' a new promotional film in which he stars.

Osimhen charmed fans with his honest remarks at the event. When asked about his experience, Osimhen joked, “I felt like Lionel Messi when I took the first ball and stepped on the pitch (Laughing).” 

He also reaffirmed his commitment to Galatasaray’s title ambitions, declaring, “We will wear the fifth star. With five games left, I am ready to give it my all for five games. What matters is the success of Galatasaray.”

Osimhen’s influence at Galatasaray this season has been immense. Since arriving on loan from Napoli, the Nigerian forward has delivered a complete attacking display, tallying 33 goals and 7 assists in 36 appearances across all competitions, a record that surpassed his career-best season at Napoli.

He has been directly involved in crucial moments, including goals and assists against top rivals like Fenerbahce and PAOK Salonika, and has consistently provided both scoring and creative spark.

His ability to rise to big occasions and his seamless adaptation to Turkish football have made him a fan favourite and a driving force behind Galatasaray’s push for a third straight league title.

Osimhen currently leads the Turkish Super Lig’s golden boot race with 24 goals and is widely credited with giving the club a decisive edge in both domestic.
