Shikalo rejoins Bandari six years since departing the club for Yanga.
Harambee Stars goalkeeper Farouk Shikalo has sealed a return to Bandari FC, six years after his initial departure, following a one-year stint with KCB FC.
Shikalo, who earned a recall to the Harambee Stars squad in November 2024, joined KCB in 2023 after helping Kakamega Homeboyz clinch the FKF Cup.
His journey has seen him play for Tusker, Bandari, Yanga SC (Tanzania), and Mtibwa Sugar (Tanzania) before his return to the coastal-based club.

The 2018/2019 FKF Premier League Golden Glove winner initially left Bandari in 2019 after his stellar performances earned him a move to Tanzanian giants Yanga SC.
That same year, he was part of Kenya’s AFCON squad, where the national team bowed out in the group stage.
Now back at Bandari, Shikalo will face stiff competition for the No.1 spot, with Byrne Omondi currently the first-choice goalkeeper.
"I want to thank God for this opportunity to return to the club. I will work to the best of my ability to help the team achieve its targets," Shikalo said during his unveiling on Bandari’s official Facebook channel.

Head coach Ken Odhiambo welcomed Shikalo’s return, emphasizing the need for squad depth in the goalkeeping unit.
"We have four good goalkeepers, so in case of injuries, fitness issues, or suspensions, we will have options. We are strengthening the position for depth purposes," Odhiambo stated.
"We sign players as individuals, but we also want them to contribute to the team. I have worked with Shikalo before, and I am confident he will help us achieve our goals alongside Byrne Omondi and James Omusinde."
