A young fan wearing Man United shirt approached Erling Haaland for a photo and the Man City star obliged. What he did next was surprising.
Erling Haaland has taken Man City and Man United’s rivalry to another level following his gesture on a young Red Devils’ fan, Mundo Deportivo.
The Norwegian striker was met with a couple of young supporters and one of them was wearing United’s shirt.
What happened between Haaland and the young fan
The 22-year-old posed for a photo with the United fan, he realized it was a rival shirt the boy was putting on which looked like it made him unhappy.
He then posed for another photo where he used his right hand to cover the Man United’s badge on the shirt with a smile and walked away.
Haaland netted a hat-trick against Erik Ten Hag’s side out of the 52 goals he scored in 53 games at the just concluded season.
He was Man City’s star man that helped the club to an incredible treble winning the Premier League, FA Cup and the Champions League in his first season at the Etihad.
