The team will hold trials to analyse possible talents who could fill the gap which will be left by departing players.

If you are a promising female footballer or know one or more who might have a future in the sport, your ship might have come in.

On Wednesday, June 7, Football Kenya Federation Women's Premier League (FKFWPL) side Gaspo Women will hold trials to analyze possible talents who could fill the gap that departing players will leave.

A statement from the club's social media pages encourages hopefuls to be at State House Grounds in Nairobi for the first phase of the trials.

"We are open for trials!! Players interested in joining Gaspo Women Football Club have an opportunity to be part of the team," the statement reads.

"Trials will be done starting next week Wednesday, June 7 2023. The venue is State House Grounds. Time is 11:00 am."

Gaspo Women finished second behind league champions Vihiga Queens in the recently concluded 2022/2023 season.

Immediately after the end of the season, the club, through goalkeeping coach James Ombeng announced that they would be bringing in new players.

"We are going to do recruitment in all positions because we need a solid side to fight for the trophy next season," he said.

Gaspo and Vihiga Queens were involved in a neck-to-neck title charge in the second leg, but the Mountain Queens' two draws in as many matches tilted the advantage in Vihiga's favour.
